After omitting Lizzo’s name while performing her song, Break My Soul (The Queen’s Remix) when the alleged lawsuit was going on, Beyonce has now shouted out the About Damn Time singer at her latest concert.
Earlier this month, Lizzo’s dancers filed a lawsuit that included allegations of weight shaming, creating a hostile work environment, and sexually denigrating behavior in several incidents between 2021 and 2023. However, the music star denied the allegations, claiming she was “not the villain” she had been made out to be.

Beyonce shouts out Lizzo at concert amid bombshell lawsuit
During the Atlanta stop of her Renaissance World Tour, Beyonce could be heard shouting Lizzo out in the crowd after her lawsuit allegations as she shouted: “I love you Lizzo!” whilst performing the Break My Soul remix she previously removed her name from.
However, the moment didn’t go down too well with some fans on Twitter, as although the singer has denied any allegations held against her, nothing has yet been proven.
Since the allegations, Lizzo has remained out of the spotlight and social media, except for her statement addressing the lawsuit.
Lizzo denies any allegations
On August 3, Lizzo took to her Instagram to deny any allegations, as she called the last few days “gut-wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing.”
In the lengthy statement, the star said she was “not here to be looked at as a victim but I also know that I am not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be these last few days.”
She then wrote: “There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world. I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight.”
“I’m hurt but I will not let the good work I’ve done in this world be overshadowed by this. I want to thank everyone who has reached out in support to lift me up during this difficult time,” she concluded.
Lizzo dedicated Grammy speech to Beyonce
The celebrity pairing have always shown support towards each other, most memorably when Lizzo dedicated her Grammy speech for Record of the Year for About Damn Time to the Irreplaceable singer.
In the emotional speech, for the award, which Beyonce was also nominated for, Lizzo said she “changed her life”.
“Beyoncé, woo, in the fifth grade I skipped school to see you perform. My sister, she got me out of school, it was literature, I’m good. Where you at, Beyonce?? My eyes are wet. You changed my life.
“You sang that gospel medley and the way you made me feel, I was like I want to make people feel this way with my music. So thank you so much! You clearly are the artist of our lives. I love you. God bless y’all,” she expressed.
