Tom Ford and Daphne Guinness' glove-affair
This has to be our favourite picture of the week. Taken at a private party hosted by Jay Jopling last night to celebrate Daphne Guinness collaboration with jewellery designer Shaun Leane, Tom Ford plants a kiss on a slumbering Daphne and we love it.
The mid-party installation marks the culmination of Guinness and Leanes creative pairing, fittingly called Condra Mundum which means Against the World in Latin. Daphne showcased an 18-carat hand crafted, diamond encrusted, chain-mail armour glove whilst lying, swathed in a lace veil, suspended on a Perspex box.
Guests at the party included Puccis Peter Dundas, Sarah Burton and Lily Cole fresh from her graduation. Perhaps the stylish crowd could shed some light on the whether Fords lip-locking was enough to awake the Sleeping Beauty...
